pretty & practical playrooms

Organized by Meg designs the organization of a playroom in a way that your young ones can easily find the toys they are looking for and not so easily find the ones you don’t want them to find - such as arts and crafts, particularly paint. These arts and crafts sometimes are placed in a flex space near an office or kitchen where they can be used and controlled by adults. We stress decluttering the toys that no longer suit your kids, encourage the swapping out of toys occasionally from the space, and organizing the room very simply. The goal is to clean up quickly when it’s time, but not to over organize to the point that you get upset if something doesn’t go back where it belongs. We believe the less toys, the less noise, and your kids will play more with the more limited toys and games they see. Having a simple and organized playroom encourages children to be creative, use their imagination more, and focus on what’s in front of them.
